The Last Stretch (Adaptive Yoga)

As we are nearing the annual Scotiabank Charity Challenge [SBCC], it is important to stretch! Whether you are running, walking or rolling, stretching is an important technique to decrease your risk of injury, promote blood circulation and reduce post-workout soreness (Health Fitness Revolution, 2016).
The Cerebral Palsy Association of BC offers adapted yoga in both Vancouver and Victoria on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively. Participants will practice meditative breathing and movements in a calm and safe environment. If you’re interested in getting loose with us in the last stretch leading up to the annual SBCC, join our Adaptive Yoga program!
