Celebrate the season and our vision for the future

holiday image
The busiest season for shopping, socializing and charitable giving is upon us. Why not mark your calendar and schedule time to plan your year-end giving?

Your charitable donation is gratefully received at any time of year. But as the year draws to a close, we are especially grateful for gifts that assist our program planning into 2016.

Celebrate the accomplishments of CPABC and be a supportive part of the vision that CPABC holds for the future. We want to create meaningful opportunities that contribute to social well-being, personal development and independence, and job opportunities for people living with CP.

Donations received by December 31, 2015 are eligible for a 2015 tax receipt. You may also maximum tax savings by donating securities or mutual funds. The Canada Revenue Agency does not apply capital gains tax on donations of publicly traded securities. Capitals gains are the increase in the value of your securities over the price you paid at purchase.

2015-Calendar-Graphic_Securities-Deadline-through-CanadaHelps-300x193When you donate your securities to charity directly through CanadaHelps, those capital gains aren’t subject to tax. This means a larger gift can be donated, and you’ll benefit from a tax receipt for the full value of your eligible securities or mutual funds. The deadline for donating securities is December 18.

THANK YOU for all you do to help us to achieve our vision for a Life Without Limits for people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

Whether it’s making a donation, volunteering time, or spreading the word, we are thankful for your support. Happy holidays from CPABC!
