Learn Without Limits: Auctioneer David C. Jones

On March 15th, 2018, we are hosting our annual Life Without Limits Gala. Year after year, we use the evening as a platform to celebrate the success of BC’s disability community and fundraise for a cause that is truly bigger than all of us.

By attending our event or supporting the gala, you’ll be making an immense difference for people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Proceeds of the Life Without Limits Gala will raise critical funds for our programs and services, including the Tanabe Bursary. This financial assistance program supports students with cerebral palsy to attend a post-secondary institution of their choice.

Meet our auctioneer: David C. Jones

David C. Jones is a producer, director, writer, actor, and editor. A man with many hats, his passion for a multitude of issues is what makes his award-winning work compelling and full of social commentary.

He strives for diversity and inclusion in his films, and represented Vancouver as an ambassador for BC Culture Days. Across the board, the one thing that seems to tie his incredibly diverse body of work together is his steadfast desire to make people laugh.

David is returning as our Life Without Limits Gala auctioneer for the third year running, to keep the show rolling all night. His motivations for being a part of our dedicated cause are as genuine as they are entertaining: “I help out because I can and because I should, because it is the right thing to do. I help out because if I can’t give a lot of money, I can give my time – and try to convince others to give money!”

Called “one of the funniest persons in Vancouver” by the Vancouver Sun, he also wants to help spread joy. Says David, “I think one way of letting people know that they are not alone in their struggles is my showing up and letting them see how many people actually care.” We’re excited to welcome back David’s enthusiasm tomorrow night!

Join David and CPABC at the gala!
